A new state-of-the-art printer offers Kinetic121 customers greater flexibility, quicker turn-around times and closer colour matching for their digital printing requirements.
The new HP 5000 Indigo printer features the very latest digital, full colour technology. It is able to deliver off-set-like quality (usually much better than digital) on a wide range of paper. Being digital, set-up times are significantly reduced and it means Kinetic121 can offer customers a more cost-effective option for shorter print runs. We can also print personalised marketing campaigns in full colour.
Digital colour printing is an important capability for Kinetic121 for the future. As well as offering our customers leading edge technology, it means affordable full digital colour printing is now a reality for many customers who hadn’t considered it an option in the past.
Off-set printing: The most common commercial printing technology in use today. Off-set printing applies layers of ink on the page. For each layer, a reverse image of the page is placed on a roller in the printing press. Ink is applied to the non-image areas on the roller, so that as the roller presses against paper moving through the press, the proper image is left on the paper.
Digital printing: Method of printing in which the data and images are printed directly from the electronic file onto paper.
The advantages for customers using the Kinetic121 full colour capability includes:
