The Pride In Print Awards recognise and promote the achievement of excellence within the New Zealand Printing Industry.

Entries are accepted from any person or company associated with the production or purchase of print. Entries must have been printed in New Zealand between 1st January and 31st December and can be from any printing process.

Gold Medals and Highly Commended Certificates are available in each category. Gold Medals are only awarded to the entrant of the winning job. If in the opinion of the judges, entries are below the achievable standard, awards will not be made.

A Category Winner is selected from all of the Gold Medal winning work in that category and the Supreme Award is then chosen from the category winning jobs.

Kinetic121 Awards

Gold Award – Specialty Products and Processes – personalisation
New Zealand Post PostCode and Addressing Standards was entered and printed by Kinetic121 and Communication Arts was the print buyer

This award is important for the future direction of Kinetic121 as an example of complex variable data work. Over 3500 booklets were printed from 15 artwork versions and each was personalised with the recipient’s name and contained individual pricing information relevant to that recipient. Personalised documents are more likely reach the customer and get a response and this was particularly important to NZ Post in this campaign.
